Heartsaver Courses

Designed for the "Lay Rescuer", Heartsaver (HS) courses will prepare those with little or no medical training to respond to an emergency in any setting. These courses often meet an employers requirements to meet certain regulations or other criteria. Please contact your employer to confirm you are selecting the correct course. They are also appropriate for anyone who wants to be prepared in an emergency (sports organizations, community groups, churches, etc.)

A course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of the course.

HS First Aid + CPR + AED

A comprehensive course of First Aid and CPR, students will cover all the First Aid topics, as well as the Adult, Child, and Infant CPR. Also included is use of an AED, how to relieve choking, and how to do all of this safely.

Course Duration ~ 4- 6 Hrs

HS CPR + AED

Learn the Lifesaving skills of CPR and the use of an AED. Included in this training is Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, using an AED, how to relieve choking, and how to do all of this safely.

Course Duration ~ 2.5- 3 Hrs

HS First Aid

Topics include:

First Aid Basics
Medical Emergencies
Injury Emergencies
Environmental Emergencies

Course Duration ~ 2.5- 3 Hrs

Pediatric First Aid + CPR + AED

Designed for those involved in childcare who need to respond during the first few minutes of an injury or illness of a child, until professional help arrives.

Course Duration ~ 7-9 Hrs
